HoM and character names
ok so i dont know if anyone knows this but i figured ill ask anyway...
I know that the HoM reserves character names but my question is whether pvp-only characters get their names reserved or if you have to actually enter the HoM for the name to get reserved. Thanks |

The answer is we don't know. You might be better off checking the guildwars2guru.com site. I am sure someone has already asked this question and perhaps it has been answered there.
In fact, here is a link to a thread where they discussed that subject. http://www.guildwars2guru.com/forum/...ight=character A poster pointed out that as your GW PvP name cannot be used by a PvE character, no one else will have been able to reserve it.

I don't think the HoM is required in order to reserve character names. I could be wrong, ofc, but I've never seen anything official that specifies that the HoM has anything to do with reserving names. (After all, what if you don't have EotN?)

I would think that you will need to add the GW2 game to your NCSoft master account to reserve the character and guild names. If there are to be other requirements, we won't find out until closer to release date. ArenaNet doesn't believe in giving out info too early, in case they change their minds.
